Music & Sound Annotation Expert Experto/a en Anotación de Música y Sonido We are looking for musicians, producers, mixing engineers, sound professionals, and music specialists to contribute to a project focused on music and audio technology. Your ears are the ground truth. You’ll listen to short field recordings and document exactly what you hear, including instruments, tempo, musical key, background sounds, crowd reactions, and specific audio events with timestamps . You’ll also compare recordings of the same song captured in different locations and, in later phases, review AI-generated descriptions to identify what is accurate, incorrect, or invented. 100% REMOTE · CONTRACTOR · 20–25 HOURS/WEEK USD 30–45/hour · 10 openings Applicants should have 3+ years of hands-on music or audio experience and strong analytical listening skills. Relevant backgrounds include working musicians, session players, producers, mixing engineers, music educators, band or choir directors, location sound recordists, sound designers, foley artists, and podcast/documentary audio editors . You should be able to identify individual instruments in complex real-world recordings, estimate tempo within a few BPM , identify musical key, and work accurately with structured annotations, timestamps, and detailed notes. Quality headphones, a quiet workspace, reliable internet, and clear written English are required. Previous experience with AI, data annotation, or AI evaluation is not required — your musical and audio expertise is what matters. IMPORTANT: The selection process and work are conducted in English. Strong written English communication skills are required.
