At Ryz Labs we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join one of our clients' teams, a growing technology team building data products for the music and entertainment industry. You will work with large-scale datasets and help design reliable data infrastructure that turns complex data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Build and optimize ETL/data pipelines processing millions of records daily

Design scalable data ingestion systems integrating streaming platforms, social media, and other data sources

Architect and maintain cloud-based data infrastructure

Develop production-ready Python applications and complex PostgreSQL queries

Work with technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, ClickHouse, Elasticsearch, Spark, and Airflow

Collaborate with Data Scientists and other teams to transform raw data into useful business insights

Improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of existing data systems

Requirements

6+ years of experience building and maintaining production data systems

Strong experience with Python and PostgreSQL

Hands-on experience with Apache Airflow, ClickHouse, Snowflake, Elasticsearch, Apache Spark, and AWS

Experience designing high-throughput, fault-tolerant data pipelines

Ability to work with large-scale datasets and distributed systems

Strong communication and collaboration skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment

Nice to Have

Experience working with music or entertainment industry data

Experience with streaming APIs or social media data

Experience working with large-scale consumer data platforms
